It is much easier to reach them if you remove the air filter box itself. They are basically opposite the front ones.
that all depended on the engine size and the rear gearing.

I own a '91 Plymouth Acclaim and have had great help from the AutoZone.com web site. They have parts (component) location diagrams, wiring diagrams, troubleshooting guides, installation and excellent repair instructions, and much more. No I do not work at Auto Zone and I am not a mechanic - not even close - but I have been able to change the oxygen sensor and throttle position sensor and I well on my way to pulling the gas tank and changing the fuel pump. Oh, and the best part is it's free! For the first time in my life I have found help with my car that doesn't require me to purchase anything. Honestly, I am impressed with this site. The '89 Acclaim engine harness diagrams are at http://www.autozone.com/az/cds/en_us/0900823d/80/08/dd/73/0900823d8008dd73/repairInfoPages.htm Good Luck.
That all depends on the engine you have and the rear gearing in the rearend.
A 1993 Mercury Capri (with the 1.6 4 cylinder DOHC engine) requires 3.2 quarts of oil.
