It is worth $5.00
Was told by a friend the US mint will give 50.00 dollars for every 5.00 dollar bill turned into them with this 2006 date on it.
I is worth nothing. A dollar store probably made it for a joke.
It's worth $20.
All you have is a regular series 2006 $1 bill with a Santa decal over Washington's portrait. It's worth one dollar.
If a dollar bill were printed in 1977, it would be worth $1.00 right now (in 2008). If a $20 bill were printed in 1977, it would be worth $20.00 right now (in 2008). A candy bar that may have cost $0.05 in 1977 would cost around $0.75 now. But then, a candy bar isn't a dollar.
It's still worth exactly $10.
It's worth exactly 100 dollars.

a half hundred dollar bill is worth $50
There is no such thing as a misprinted new 5 dollar bill. People think this because the year on them is 2006, but didn't come out until 2008. 2006 is the series year based on the start of the Treasury Secretary's term. The serial number indicates of when it was printed. Check it out: www . snopes . com/business/money/newmoney.asp
