There is no such thing as a Liberty dollar coin minted in 2000. There is however the Sacajawea dollar which was minted in brass, and unless in proof condition it is only worth $1.

Depends on the coin. If it's a Sacajawea, Presidential, Eisenhower, or Susan B. Anthony, pretty much face value only. If it's an actual silver dollar, the silver content is currently about 20x face value. Rare date/mint combos are worth a lot more.
