In general most 1957 silver certificates are worth only a small amount above face value - maybe $1.25 to $1.50. If your bill is older please post a new question with its date and whether there is a small letter next to the date.
A $1 silver certificate series 1934 is currently worth about $20 in circulated condition, and about $40 in a nice, crisp uncirculated condition.DanUser:WorkingMan
As of 07/2008, $475.-$1000. depending on condition
Silver certificates were never formally withdrawn so you could still spend one, but you can't exchange them for silver anymore. However depending on its date it may not make much sense to spend a silver certificate. Common ones (mostly 1957 $1 bills) are pretty much only worth a bit more than face value to collectors, but some older-date silver certificates can be worth much more.

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing of the united States, never released a $100,000,000 bill. What you have is a novelty item that sells for a few dollars.
How much is a 1957a silver certificate worth?

The U.S. hasn't printed silver certificates since the 1960s, and there was never a $2 silver certificate.
It's a U.S. Note rather than a silver certificate. It's worth face value if circulated, $3 if uncirculated.
A silver certificate is paper currency. It is not a coin. No silver dollars were minted in 1943, and no silver certificates were printed with that date either.
You need to be a bit more specific. There are no US government issued silver certificates made since the suspension of the silver standard in 1964.There may be private mints and storage companies that do provide silver certificates (for example, you place one silver dollar in storage and they give you a certificate that promises to pay one silver dollar to whoever redeems that certificate in the future. These certificates, if valid, would be worth what one silver dollar is worth (minus perhaps the fees to actually obtain physical possession of that silver dollar)Or perhaps you are referring to a certificate of authenticity for a 2008 silver eagle. If this is just a certificate of authenticity for a 2008 dated coin, it is nearly worthless without the coin. With the coin it might add a couple of cents to a dollar to its value, but just the piece of paper itself would be worth about 2-3 cents.

Please look at the bill more carefully. It's a Federal Reserve Note, not a silver certificate.
