How do you replace an ignition coil on a 1988 Chevy Celebrity?

If your car has the 2.8 L engine the coil is on the ignition module which is located on the front of the engine below the exhaust manifold. Remove the two spark plug wires noting their positions so you can put them back in the correct place. Remove the two small screws that hold the coil in place, remove the old coil and install the new coil. Replace the two spark plug wires. If your car has the 2.5L four cylinder engine the coils are bolted to the ignition module which is on the back of the engine below the intake manifold. Remove the two spark plug wires noting where they go back. Take the two small screws out and remove the old coil, then install the new coil and put the spark plug wires back in their proper places.
