Switzerland ("Confoederatio Helvetica" is Latin for the "Swiss Confederation") did not produce a 5 Franc coin in 1927.

The type produced in 1922, 1923, 1924, 1925, 1926 and 1928, weighed 25 grams, was 90% silver (giving it and ASW - Actual Silver Weight - of 0.7234 troy ounces), and measured 37mm in diameter. The front had a portrait of William Tell and the words "CONFOEDERATIO HELVETICA". The back had a sheild with a Swiss Cross on it, flanked by sprigs, with "5 FR." (1922 and 1923 said "5 Fr.")above and the date and mintmark below.

The type produced from 1931-1967, as well as 1969 (1968 and 1970 onwards were made of Copper-Nickel) were smaller (31.5mm), lighter (15g) and less pure (83.5% Silver - ASW of 0.4027 troy ounces), but otherwise of a similar design.
