It is worth all you can get ! The 555 sold new in 1962 for less than $70.00. I bought a 550-1 at that time because they were less than $60.00. Both rifles will shoot short, long and long-rifle cartridges , even if mixed up, without a problem. Depending on the condition of the gun, it should be worth between $100 and $300 depending on who wants it and why. I won't sell mine because I am afraid that I can't find a replacement.
