These coins are common though the set is not. Together like this I would say people are trying to get 30-50dollars for the set. however individualy you could get a set for about 12-20 bucks. I would not let it go for less than 50.00 because it is too hard to replace and it is cool. But really it has little value.
Some people confuse the regular issue copper-nickel 1942 Jefferson nickels with the famous 1944 "Henning" counterfeit coins, mostly because of the lack of the large "P" mintmark on the coins. Take it to a coin dealer for an assessment.
