$1 - liner pencils you have to sharpen that are sold from a bucket hanging off the side of the shelf. This would be something like Wet & Wild, or a brand no one ever heard of before.

$5 - liner pencils you have to sharpen, from a famous brand like Cover Girl or Maybelline. These come from the same machine as the no-name-brand pencils.

$10 - gel liner, which comes in a pot and is applied with a brush, or liquid liner, from a brand like Maybelline.

$20 - liners from less-expensive department store brands like Clinique or MAC

$30 - liners from really expensive department store brands like Lancome

$200 - $500 - permanent liner, which is tattooed on.
