Yes but not a lot.

Most old newspapers would have no value at all. A historically significant one however might be worth $10 to $20 if it is still in good condition.

Properly preserved and mounted as a display piece then you could also add the value of the display and increase it's overall value.

Properly preserved and display cased versions may sell upwards of $100 especially if additional photo's related to the news in the paper are included as part of the framing to bolster the artistic presentation.

Newspapers are essentially fairly common and easily reproduced so most of their value is going to come from its condition and presentation as a historical art piece.

Don't cut it apart! Don't treat it with any chemicals! Keep it out of direct sunlight, especially if under glass in a frame. The main value will be in its complete state and condition!

The value of a newspaper reporting the first man walking on the moon, like the Apollo 11 mission, can vary depending on its condition, rarity, and historical significance. Original newspapers from that time period can range from a few dollars to hundreds of dollars or more, especially if they are in good condition and from a reputable publication.

Most newspapers that provided coverage about very important events worldwide of interest worldwide often had high publication numbers. So they are not scarce items; without scarcity, value decreases. The more rare a publication, people might pay a higher price. For example, the only existing copy of even a rural small town newspaper could be worth hundreds of dollars! But, the moon landing was so widely reported and more papers were sold, and is very "recent" in world history, that it wouldn't be worth more than $5.00 to $25.00 IF in good condition.

However-- don't throw out these historical newspapers! Pass them down in your family as keepsakes. In another 50-100 years, your copy may be one of just a few left, if other people trashed their copies.

It depends on where the newspaper is from. A copy of the New York Times with a given headline is, all else being equal, worth considerably more than a copy of the Podunk, Kansas Picayune covering the same event.

Condition is also a factor, and ... even though all anyone will ever look at is the front page ... a complete paper is generally worth more than the front page alone.

If you really want to know how much a specific newspaper is worth, contact a dealer for an estimate.

As a rule, newspapers are not terribly valuable. If your paper is in good condition (and it's not a reprint), thinking along the lines of "burgers and a DVD rental" rather than "mortgage payment" will probably result in less disappointment when you actually get the appraisal.
