Two things make a firearm valuable: 1. It belonged to someone famous or was involved in a famous incident (historical). 2. It is in EXCELLENT shape. Meaning, the bluing is still on it, there is no pitting, etc. If the sidearm does not meet the above criteria; it's good for a "wall hanger."
