The amount of land needed to feed a family depends on the size of the family, the type of gardening/farming that is used, and what the family wants to eat. Growing fruits and vegetables does not take a whole lot of land if it is done biointensely; that is, grown in block areas, not rows, often in raised beds with really good soil that includes compost. If you want to grow your own grains, they can be grown the same way, but of course, more space would be needed.
Having chickens for eggs would take a chicken coup, but that does not take a whole lot of space. if you raise your own animals, a barn or other shelter and room for them to graze would be ideal, but not many would be needed.
Using the right techniques, enough vegetables to feed a family could be done on a good-sized, but not real large city lot, but adding enough grains would require more land, possibly an acre or more. The chickens would require a relatively small space, but raising cows or pigs to feed a family would require shelter and land for them to graze on. Goats can be raised for milk, butter, cheese, etc., and they do not require much land.
Done right, you could probably feed a small family on five acres or less.
A small plot of land where a family grows just enough to feed itself is commonly referred to as a "subsistence farm" or a "kitchen garden."
90 to feed a family of 3 for a week => 30 to feed one for a week => 30*5 to feed a family of 5 for a week ie 150. However, this assumes that it costs the same to feed adults and children in a family (unlikely), and that there are no economies of scale (also unlikely).
