Israel controls 78% of the former Mandate of Palestine compared with 22% in the West Bank and Gaza. However, it should be noted that Palestinians are not forced to live there; they can literally live anywhere in the world other than Israel and a large number of Palestinians who did not flee Israel live inside of Israeli borders without restriction.
Palestinians who fled from the territories that Israel occupied.
Well pretty much all of Israel except West banks and the Gaza strip
Palestinians come from Palestine. The Palestinians originated from the ancient country of Palestine. Palestine is located in modern-day Israel, the geographical region between the Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan River. Basically, it is the Muslim counterpart of the Jewish Israel.
The Palestinians were driven out to occupied territories such as the West Bank and Gaza Strip. Some of them were able to move into surrounding countries but most weren't welcomed there.
The Jews STILL live there, and they still have difficulties. The biggest problem is the situation with the Palestinian Territories. The Israelis require the Palestinians to recognize them as a state in order to gain independence, but the Palestinians refuse. On the Other hand, The Palestinians, want full control over the old city of Jerusalem, and the Israelis refuse. The Palestinian Authority has repeatedly stated that it will not recognize or deal with Israel. But another complication there is that all of the power, water, and cell phone service in the Territories come from Israel. In order for Israel to give complete independence, it would have to stop supplying the Palestinians with electricity and water, which they just can't do.
Well that can refer to many things but that would be Palestinians that usually live in areas affected by Israel such as the territories of Gaza and the West Bank and these people take up arms against their enemies, whoever that might be.

New Jersey (USA) is 7,787 mi2, about 3/4 the area of Israel which is approximately 10,762 mi2 (including disputed territories) [ http:/www.iris.org.il/sizemaps/new_jersey.htm ].In its pre-1967 borders, Israel was 8,019 mi2, still slightly larger than New Jersey.(ETA: corrected format - b.)
The British Mandate of Palestine covered all of current day Israel (including the occupied territories) and Jordan, as well as parts of Syria. Currently however, the term Palestine refers to the Occupied Territories where Israel has put the Palestinians previously occupying what is now Israel. The Israeli Defense Forces controls Palestine with an iron fist, though recently there has been efforts to bring the Palestinian Authority to power. This has not been successful as of yet because of many things, among them Israel's want for an Israeli Jerusalem without Palestinians and Israel's wants for better safety for their citizens (leading to much worse safety for Palestinians).
Jordan has the largest number of Palestinians living outside Israel and the Occupied Territories. They make up a significant portion of the population in Jordan, with estimates ranging from 2 million to 3.2 million.
93% of Palestinians are Muslim, and 6% of Palestinians are Christian. Muslim and Christianity are the main religions in Israel.
It depends on how they make that claim. Bedouin and Druze claim that Israel belongs to them as much as it belongs to the Jews and proudly call themselves Bedouin Israelis and Druze Israelis. A number of Arabs who formerly lived in what is now Israel or the Occupied Territories claim that the Jewish State is illegitimate and demand that country be returned to them for administration. These individuals are called Palestinians. (Admittedly, a number of Palestinians are willing to allow Israel to exist outside of the Occupied Territories, but there is no difference in naming between the Two-Staters and the One-Staters.)
