Till today the Urban Land ceiling and regulation repeal Act is not in force in West Bengal and the Urban ceiling Act is still in force in west Bengal so any person including a ltd. company allowed to hold 7-1/2 katha of vacant land in west Bengal. but the west Bengal govt. assured to repeal the ulc act as soon as possible preferably within 2011
