Crochet is a process of creating fabric from yarn, thread, or other material strands using a crochet hook.
Not too much light is required. just relax and keep it all tight but as much light as accessible at the time. if you are good you can do it in the dark.
A crochet hook is a tool, and together with the type of yarn you want to use, will help you achieve the gauge you need in the fabric you want to crochet. There is no number as a maximum, but you do need at least one.
No, you can only crochet with a crochet hook. Answer Crochet is done with crochet hooks (they come in many sizes) not knitting neeldes. But you can also use your fingers (finger crochet) or there is also some thing called Knooking which uses a tool that has a crochet hook on one end and a knitting needle point on the other.
About 2kg of dk (worsted) yarn, depending on how much drape you want. This is quite generous.
In crochet, the term "st" stands for stitch. It is used in creating crochet patterns to indicate the different types of stitches that need to be made, such as single crochet (sc), double crochet (dc), or treble crochet (tr). By following the instructions for each stitch, crocheters can create intricate and detailed designs in their projects.
Whenever you want!
Blocking crochet is not permanent, as the shape and size of the crochet piece can change if it gets wet or is stretched. Blocking helps to set the shape temporarily, but the piece may need to be re-blocked in the future.

Well I don't have a way to add a photo here...but a Q Hook looks exactly like all other Crochet Hooks except it is much larger. Most Q Hooks will be made of plastic and some are made of wood...intended to make the hook light weight so it is not too heavy to hold for long periods of time. In other words, they need to be light weight to be easy to work with. Q Hooks are 15.75 mm in length.
The abbreviation for the treble crochet stitch in crochet patterns is "tr."
yes you can but you will need more yarn as you are going to need more rows to make the same size item .. The width will not be effected at all .. if you are making a blanket it is easy just continue till same length .. if you are making a garment you will have to adjust the pattern for the height differences .. for example they may say you need 20 rows for an armhole and you may need 28 rows ..
