How much luggage is allowed per person to Amsterdam?

Airlines have become very strict about the amount of luggage a passenger may carry. You may be charged for a bag over 50 pounds and as much as that for an extra checked bag. My trip to Ireland in 2017 entailed a $100 charge in each of these cases. (Luckily one bag became a carry-on.) Check with the airline well before your flights and be prepared. Once at the airport, there is not anywhere to jettison belongings, including large sizes of liquids.
