If you plan on storing it to the hard drive for SO-CALLED quicker booting and quieter use ( new update ) don't and i have 2 reasons why.
1st: The game will take up 7.8 GB.
2nd: On online multiplayer it will run very slow not inc. your connection, this will cause all sorts of people taking the mick out of you, as Bungie ( Halo 3 creators ) stated.
Halo 3 maps do not function on memory cards,sadly the only way to play them is on a hardrive.you also need 6-8 gigs
