Hi,
Some researchers believe that at 5 months a baby should have minimal of 20oz of milk, other researchers believe that babies should drink the equivalent of their weight multiplies by 2 or 2.5 oz (ie) if your baby weighs 20 pounds, he/she should intake 40 oz... .
My son is also 5 months and used to drink over 40oz.. lately, he only drinks about 30 oz (he hasn't been interested in the bottle lately.. i hope its a phase and it will pass).
At this point, you can give milk according to the nutritional and drink needs of your child. They can drink fruit juice, water and milk. They should be eating solid foods by now, so amount of milk doesn't matter as much.
i have read somewhere that an infant has to drink at least 500 ml of milk (bottled or mother's milk) till 12 month of age. later the intake needs to be less than 500 ml.
Toddlers around 17 months old should have no more than 2 cups or 16 ounces of milk a day. Milk should be given with a meal and not be the meal for the toddler.
A 14 month old baby needs an average of 18 ounces of milk per day. It is fine if the baby drinks more milk than 18 ounces.
apparently it should be 1/3 pint.....thats what my friend told me as her doctor gave her this advice.
It is recommended that a child under two years old drink only whole milk. An 18 month old baby needs only about 24 ounces of milk per day.
If you are talking about whole milk not formula its between 16-24 ounces. They need the whole milk because the fat in it helps their brain to develope.
20 to 24 ounces
I'd much prefer it reaches the mouth of a baby in need.
Your mother will born baby this month what do she need to do to be both of them will be safe?
You should have a glass of milk with every meal.
a baby needs milk from their parents. it needs care

The breasts swell and become tender and sore, this happens because the body is getting ready to produce the milk the baby will need.

For a baby under 1 year of age, the baby should only be consuming formula or breast milk until about age 6 months but remember if you are giving formula you need to also give your baby water because in breast milk there is plenty so you don't need to give much water. After 6 months you can introduce fruits and vegetable baby food.
If you need a passport there, the baby will also need a passport. Maybe there is the possibility to get your baby written into your passport.
Yes. Being mammals (albeit egg-laying mammals), baby platypuses must feed on mothers' milk.
