well, you have to always check on your "Tom Nook Point System" to see how many points you have, if you have 590 points, you will get Nookingtons, to get points, you buy things from his store, eg. if you buy bags of flowers, you get 1 point, if you buy the items from the opposite table with the axe, fishing rod, timer and shovel, you get three points and if you buy a note in a bottle or medicine, you get two points and if you buy the furniture that varies on the back wall, you get either 24 points and over depending on how much the item is!
QUICK TIP: if someone from another town buys at least 1 piece of furniture, you will get Nookingtons much quicker!, Good Luck!!!
actually no you have to pay a certain amount of bells and get a friend to visit and buy something it doesn't have to do with your points! you have to pay 240,000 bells and get a friend to visit and buy something. good luck

umm for the 2 people above yea one 1 of my accounts i have 21,132 points how come i didn't get nookingtons??? ill try the money way aswell and if you know the answer for my weird question than add sandeep_goraya@hotmail.com and tell me the answer and another question does every account you have have to have 590 points or more to get Nookington?

There are two ways: 1) Spend 240,000 bells worth of goods at Nookaway or... 2) One of your Wi-Fi friends needs to purchase something and 1 or 2 days later Tom Nook will build it up! Nookingtons is awesome! On the first floor is tools (paper, axe, rod, net, timer, can, flowers and medicine.) And also on the first floor you can enter Shampoodle which is a hair salon where Harriet can change your hair style. And on the second floor is house needs (furniture, paint, wallpaper and flooring.) Enjoy Nookingtons!

Nope! Not at all! I got Nookingtons without a single person coming to buy something from Tom Nook. All you have to do is just spend about 100,000 bells (something around that) at his shop, and you will get Nookingtons. So if you want Nookingtons REALLY fast, (if you have Nookway) Go and buy the five pieces of furniture, and all the wallpaper and carpet, (you can sell it back to Tom Nook for extra bells), then save. Go and change the time to the next day and repeat the same thing. Do this about 10 or 11 times and you will get Nookingtons. (You will have spent 100,000 bells. each item cost about 1,000 bells so buying all nine is about 10,000 bells a day, and when doing this for 10 days...ta da! 100,000 bells spent! And Nookingtons! This was how i got Nookingtons.)

u hav 2 invite a friend over 2 ur town and get them 2 buy somin from ur shop (nookway) and a few days l8r it wil b nookingtons :) c yaa well, from the answer above you have to invite a friend over to your town and get them to buy somethin from ur shop (nookway) but to get the upgrade u also have to spend 240,000 bells at nookway and then the next day or a few days (im not sure) later you will have nookingtons! After you get nookingtons you will have the Shampoodle (the hair salon) and Timmy and Tommy (Nook's nephews) will take care of the 2nd floor (yes it will be two stories high) -hope i helped!
