You can purchase a device that records the watt usage of a particular electric device. Thinkgeek.com has such a device, as do other sites.
Said device plugs into the wall outlet (or some form of power supply) and the device you wish to record watt usage on plugs into this device.
The device has a small LED screen that shows data (such as how many watts being used). You will need to look at the electric bill of your home and they will show the rate in which they charge for each kilowatt (ie. 1000 watts) used per hour. You can calculate how many kilowatts your electronic device uses and multiply it by the rate shown on the electric bill to determine how much it costs you.
A waste of money
So much waste of money
its waste of money
How much money in gas does a car waste weekly?
Buying uniforms isn't a waste of money. So the answer would be $0.
According to Statistics Canada average teens spend $1000-3000 a year on electronics.
There is a high volume of e-waste because electronics are so commonly used in today's society that of course there are also many electronic devices that are no longer useful. Electronics generally have a shorter lifespan than other products because they are often more delicate and go obsolete much more quickly (because of the rate at which electronics are developing), resulting in more electronics being thrown away--more e-waste.
