How much money does John Sterling make as the Yankees sportscaster?

i dont know but whatever it is its too much,

he makes a ton of mistakes and misses calls way to frequently. he's to concerned about his own legacy and not so much about the game

If you think Sterling is bad then you've never heard the White Sox hillbilly announcer Ken Harrelson. He uses hillbilly expressions in Chicagoland, arguably the most sophisticated region in the country. White Sox owner Jerry Reinsdorf has kept Harrelson for 20 years. I don't know what's wrong with Reinsdorf and I can't believe that a man of his supposed intelligence wouldn't hire Woody Harrelson over Ken Harrelson. Harrelson is so obnoxious that if you were forced to listen to him for more than five minutes you'd throw a brick through the TV.

Besides how can any announcer as articulate as John Sterling sound bad announcing for the greatest sports franchise in the history of the world? Even if he screws up a few calls here and there he makes up for it with his unique homerun calls for every Yankee in the starting lineup.
