It depends on the experience, fresh out of school you can make about $8-$9 an hour with some benefits as your experience gets better the pay and benefits get better.it's also a good thing to stay up to date on the dental law and ethics the more you learn as you go the more your boss believe you have the experience to handle the tough tasks then the more your pay increases. $8-$9 an hour? Maybe if your in the middle of rural area of Arkansas! I think it depends a lot on your experience and your certification. If your just starting out maybe more like 10-12 dollars an hour. I think also location plays a great part in it too. Depending on what state your in. More like $25 dollars and up for the DC area and I am assuming any other major metro area. The $25 an hour is just to start only requiring a HS diploma. "Median hourly earnings of dental assistants were $14.53 in May 2006. The middle 50 percent earned between $11.94 and $17.44 an hour. The lowest 10 percent earned less than $9.87, and the highest 10 percent earned more than $20.69 an hour." "Benefits vary substantially by practice setting and may be contingent upon full-time employment. According to the American Dental Association, 87 percent of dentists offer reimbursement for continuing education courses taken by their assistants." This information was taken directly off the Bureau of Labor Statistics web site.
$18-20 and hour or more depending on where you live and how much experience you have.

I am a dental lab tech. I am working for a same day dental company. I have ten years experience. I am what is called a full tech. That means I can do everything that needs to be done. I am paid $18.38 per hour with medical and dental and vision and 401k and bonus and two weeks vacation and five sick days. I think the hourly rate is on the low end of the pay scale. The rate is more like $25.00 per hour.

[be sure to check your spelling next time. (that person had a lot of grammar distractions:)]

How much turnaround time is important for outsourcing dental lab?

Turnaround time is the time taken for complete execution of process. It is crucial and it varies for every product but it shouldn’t take more or less of the standard time frame for it to be completed. Ask the lab how they check the quality of the products they make? Understand each step they take and how much time they take for every step of the quality checking process. If a dental lab doesn’t have anything to hide they will take you through every step and they will make sure the quality of the material and the products in general. Newstar Dental Lab follows standard turnaround time for all dental products. We are working with partners and clients around the world for 20 years. Compared with other dental labs in China, the Newstar Dental Lab boasts the focus and technical specialty on digital dentistry and implants. It is built to help dental partners of the world to embrace the digital future of new dentistry.

Become a Dental Lab Tech?

One of the largest growing industries is the dental industry, and one of the best ways to break into the dental industry is as a dental lab tech. Dental lab techs can almost write their own ticket when it comes to employment after graduation, and the first thing is been to find an appropriate school in which to learn the discipline. If you want to be a dental lab tech these days, your best bet is to go with a vocational school that is geared especially towards dental lab tech work, and not worry about going to a liberal arts or more traditional school because you will not find as comprehensive program, you will probably end up paying much more, and your chances of employment will go way down because of the broad nature of the teaching experience there. Dental lab table vocational schools have been among the most popular vocational schools to make a rise in recent years over the United States and even in countries like Denmark and Norway. The reasoning for this is because situations in those countries for the more traditional liberal arts programs have gone up exponentially, while the costs of dental lab tech and vocational schools have stayed relatively similar over the past decade. Also, being a dental lab tech is a very precise discipline, which requires a very precise curriculum. This curriculum is usually only taught at dental lab tech vocational schools, as many of the more liberal arts programs simply have too broad of a curriculum to focus on a discipline as narrow as this. It actually helps the person who is seeking employment to get employment much quicker if they do so as a dental lab tech in a vocational school that if they take the much more roundabout path of going through a traditional accredited liberal arts university or college program. The bottom line is, if you want a job right after graduation, you should consider attending a dental lab tech vocational school. There are many in your area, and you can even go to a dental lab tech school online, increasing your flexibility even more.

Dental crowns crackle sound with ice cream type foods?

When you visit a dentist for your crown or bridge, your dentist will "prepare" - remove your old crown, remove cavities of your tooth, etc. Then your dentist will take an impression of your "prepared" tooth and send it to a dental lab. The dental lab will then make your crown or bridge to replace your "prepared" tooth. Depending on the lab, your crown can be very good or not so good. When your dental crown crackles it is because of your crown is not prepared well. For more information about Dental crown visit www.identallab.com
