Best Answer

$8.50 an hour and about 15 hours a week.

It will depend upon what state the store is in (minimum wage differs in each state), the range of salary (not all people make only minimum wage), and how many hours per week the employee works.

Just like any organization, the employee pay will vary depending on their job and their pay rates.

The average hourly pay at Walmart depends on your job. The lowest paid is cart pushers and immanence, then the next level is floor associates, then highest is cashier and special areas like Electronics. Overnight workers get paid $1 per hour more than any daytime worker that has their same job. For me, as a cashier who has worked at Walmart1 year or less I make about $20,000 per year. each year an associate works there they e a 40 cent pay-raise. Everyone in Walmart in Arizona gets paid around $8.40 per hour work an average 34 hours a week, but never more than 39. Full time workers get paid about $2 more per hour..so about $10/hr. average..it varies by a few cents depending on job, time employed, etc.

A full time cashier I know who has worked there 4 yeas gets paid around $12/hour now..

Walmart employees work 5 days/week 364 days/yr. unless hey take a vacation or something as Walmart only closes Christmas Day (and that doesnt apply to overnights who work 365 nights a year)
