Some farmers make a great deal of money. If no farmer received "as much as they should" we would have no farmers. Many farmers do so as a hobby. We only have a hundred acres or less and do not expect to make our living on farming. It is a hobby for us and we can do alright. Hay cost about $1.00 a bale to make and I get $3.75 currently. Can you triple money in a season? Farmers can do well and the wealth is in the land and property they own. There are many professions that pay worse per hour and the way of life is not as great.
That all depends on the size of the bale, the type of bale being sold and the composition of that bale. It also depends on your location.
To my calculations when i studied history with my teacher he said that them bales of hay costed him about 25 cents per hay stack if only gas were like that
A typical bale of hay usually costs between 2 and 10 dollars, depending on where you live
Since the size of hay bales varies so greatly, this question must be answered by weight. Current prices of quality alfalfa hay in the western U.S. range from $70 to $110 US per ton (US ton = 2,000 pounds). In other parts of the U.S., hay types, qualities, and prices can vary greatly from this. In the U.S., your local county extension agent should be able to give you a reasonably unbiased value for the hay available locally.
the farmer amasses the hay to make hay bales.
Alot of money because my grandpa owns one
grass + scythe = hay grass + farmer = hay
He doesn't. Logically a farmer feeds his cows (or cow) hay, grain and silage or lets them out to the pasture.
When the farmer gives it to them.
You are really busy at work and want to take a day off, but you don't as you want to make as much money as possible while the chance of work is there.
