Depends on how long you are seeing your patient. If it is a one time visit, they pay you that day but you wont necessarily get paid if they pay you that day. That money would be untouchable and only count for a percentage of your salary on pay day. If it is twice a week for, lets say, four weeks then they would pay you monthly. However, hardly anybody who goes to a therapist just goes once or for a week. So the answer would have to be no, the majority of therapists do not get paid weekly but every two weeks like everyone else or even monthly. It is sort of like commission. Commission is getting paid for only the hours you work.
