As of 2011, Pixar has done none of their films without Disney as Disney did the promotion and distribution of all the Pixar movies.
There are literally thousands upon thousands of movies that aren't made by Pixar.See provided link for movies that AREmade by Pixar and anything that's not listed there is obviously not a Pixar movie.
Disney/ Pixar is a mixture of two major movie making productions: Disney AND Pixar. Disney/ Pixar have formed together to make such movies as Finding Nemo, etc.
Pixar.
Pixar studios .
for me only three things come to mind 1. all the pirates of the Caribbean movies 2. all the pixar movies 3. every other animated movie they made
It has to be made by Pixar studios.
No, it's a PIXAR movie. Pixar made the movie, and Disney handled marketing and distribution. People often think that Disney makes all of Pixar's movies (Ratatouille, Cars, Toy Story, etc.), which is untrue.Put it this way...You don't give the pizza delivery boy credit for making your pizza because the chef made the pizza. Disney is the pizza delivery guy, Pixar is the chef, and the pizza is A Bug's Life. ;)
Pixar.
Pixar is more politically correct, among other things. Compare the two; Finding Nemo: Coral reefs and currents; Shark Tale: Metro cities, mafias, car washes for whales; etc. Dreamworks also has more adult-oriented jokes. Not saying that Pixar doesnt make movies good for all ages, but Dreamworks is more "bad". Dreamworks is a little more cartoonish, while Pixar (as I stated above) tries hard to make their movies real, yet still fantasy like. There are hundreds of other reasons why, but I think those are the three biggest.
"Monsters Inc." was made by Disney and PIXAR and was released in 2001.
It's difficult to pinpoint who exactly starts a trend. The movie companies Disney and Pixar have made many animated movies that are geared to adults as well as children.
