Depends on whether you are able to get royalties, whether the game goes into production or is stuck in cyberspace, who you are able to sell it to, what the market is for the type of game... There are a lot of factors involved.
A company that is making a video game would need a knowledgeable programmer, a computer, and an idea for a fun game.
very little - the money's in development, prior art. the idea itself is almost worthless
if it is a good game that is fun to play. that will be worth the money.
The idea... yes. The actual video game... No. I believe that falls under the category of copyright infringement.
I guess that no one has thought about that. It's a very great idea, because I LOVE Corpse Bride myself, and it would be cool if they made a video game!!!
There are companies that would be interested in a game idea or app. With people playing more games on smart phones and computers, a person with a good game idea who has done some research and test marketing, could present their idea for sale. An individual must be willing to do the legwork to be sure that their idea is fresh and viable. Just because a person comes up with a game idea does not mean it can make money, this is where the individual will need to prove to the investor or manufacturer, that they have a workable money making idea.
I would send your idea to a small off brand company, but you could try sending it to one of the big companies such as Bungie, Nintendo, or Infinity Ward
Are you talking about the book or the video game? If your talking about the video game I don't think they did. But the book I have no idea sorry. :(
I have no idea but if anyone has the game and could shazam the song and let me know that would be awesome.
Because someone needed some money and thought it would be a good idea for a game. EDIT: And they were right
Send it to the company. Write a letter saying what you want
Have an idea for a game. Develop your game idea. Get other people to try out the game to see if they would like to play it. You will need to get or have an education in how to design computer games or be able to hire people who have the education and knowledge to design the game. Have a lot of money or find someone who has a lot of money who is willing to invest in your game idea. Use the money to lease/rent/buy the buildings and equipment needed to host and run the game. Use more money to hire people to run the equipment, etc. Advertise your game and hope that it is good enough to get people interested in playing and paying for the game.
