The headlight bulb seals in the Nissan Micra can be very tight. If you cannot loosen them, it is best to take the car to a mechanic to avoid any damage.
take the dash apart and its much easier to get to the motor, a bit tight to get too but better with the dash out of the way!!
What year and model micra is it? They are all different. Current "bug" k12 model? Previous "bubble" k11 model? or Older "box" k10 model?
IF YOU HAVE THE MEANS TO REMOVE AND TRANSPORT THE BATTERY,TAKE IT IN TO YOUR LOCAL NAPA STORE THEY USUALLY DONT CHARGE TO TEST THEM IF THERE NOT BUSY,OR IF YOU CAN DRIVE IT ,MOST GARAGES HAVE A TESTER AND THEY DONT CHARGE MUCH IF ANY.
get in touch with your main dealer if you dont have a radio code card. otherwise you can take it to a car audio place that decodes radios.

It can be done but it is not worth the trouble as you will have to take the steering rake out and fit a power steering pump and resivoir it is not worth the trouble as you will have to change the rake and fit a steering pump and resivoir

I guess your talking about the heater resistor? If so i seem to remember them being behind the centre of the dash, take off the trims in the footwells, it will be on the heater box itself that's for sure, so find that, and you will find the resistor.
