remove seat. remove tool case. Remove terminals from battery, lift out.
This hf303 oil filter is for kawasaki motorcycles. It will fit the vulcan 900 engine,not sure about other engine sizes.
It takes almost exactly a gallon. Just did my oil change on a 2006 Kawasaki Vulcan Classic 900. It was just over a gallon, but a gallon worth was good enough.

It's under the left side cover. Take the seat off and remove one screw and then the side cover pulls right off.
