Yes, since that's a tautology. Unless you mean "would additional seats fit in a vehicle without taking the original seats out first", in which case it would be a pretty tight fit, but you might be able to get them in the back. There isn't much room in the "trunk" (which in a '74 beetle is actually in the front), and I doubt you could get them in there.
Right now you don't. The head you need is no longer available, so what I would do if I was you is to buy a New 1600cc Longblock and put a dual-carb setup on it. This will cost you lots and lots of dollars, but it will make the car so much more fun to drive.

The beetles are fuel injected. They don't have carburetors.
The Titan Beetle is a type of longhorn beetle. It is not known how much a Titan Beetle actually weighs, but the largest one found measured 16.7 centimeters long.
Whatever 3 quarts of oil and a "Beetle oil gasket kit" costs in your area. About $20+- US? 2.cip1.com usually has pretty good prices. Buy the oil locally tho.
I just had mine replaced in my '98 beetle. It was $682.84 for compressor, $474.18 A/C clutch & $14.99 refrigant, $244.20 labor
