(alternate answer) Doctors need to know a lot about chemistry, but not so much about physics. Still, there are aspects of medicine that involve physics, such as an MRI machine, a PET scanner, a CAT scanner, even an ordinary X ray machine. All of this involves nuclear physics. A radiologist would have to know a fair amount of physics. But not all specialties are involved with physics.

Can you become a doctor without physics?

A doctor (of medicine) doesn't really need much physics in his day-to-day work. A college that teaches medicine might have some physics subjects, but that won't be a big deal. I suggest you ask at specific colleges that teach physics, perhaps in your neighborhood. Or just don't worry too much about that. In any case, even if there is no physics, there is bound to be other difficult subjects.

How does the knowledge of physics help a pharmacist?

Understanding physics principles can help a pharmacist in various ways, such as calculating drug dosages, understanding drug formulations, and evaluating drug delivery mechanisms. Physics is essential in pharmacokinetics, which deals with how drugs move within the body, helping pharmacists optimize drug therapy for patients. Additionally, knowledge of physics can aid in understanding the interactions of drugs with light, heat, and other physical factors that can affect their stability and efficacy.

What classes in high school do you need to take to be an anesthesiologist?

Anesthesiologists are doctors. It isn't the high school classes so much as the college classes that will get you into medical school. In high school you need good grades so that you can get into a good college. And in college you will need good grades to get into medical school. After medical school, you then study to acquire your anesthesiologist certification.

Do you need to take Physics in high school to major in Physics as a freshmen in college I'm taking Chemistry Plant Science Calculus and Microbiology at a community college. Will I be okay for UC?

I have no idea if you will be okay or not, that is completely up to you. No, it is not required to take Physics in high school to major in Physics. It does help though. Some people take AP Physics in high school so they can skip Introductory Physics in college. This just gives them a step up on the rest of the students. It is completely possible to major in Physics without knowing ANYTHING about Physics. At most colleges you do your orientation and they ask you if there is anything you want to major in and you just tell them. It pretty much doesn't matter what happened in high school as long as you can get into the college or university. Once your in, you are free to major in anything you want!
