If it has to much rainfall, the place will flood and it will mess up the crop
It depends on the region, how much rainfall the region gets, and other factors. For example, a place in Death Valley probably wouldn't flood often. But a place that gets a lot of rainfall and is close to a river would flood more often.
Nobody died in the flood as there was much help involved
i believe it is due to global warming!!this is just one of the physical causes - Flood risk during the summer is normally reduced by dry soil conditions. However, in this case the record early summer rainfall meant that soils were already close to saturation. Groundwater levels were also much higher than normal, so there was little infiltration or percolation capacity.

Droughts is the lack of rainfall over a period of time, giving an area a deficit in the normal amount of precipitation. Floods is when there is too much rainfall in single or multipule rain event that the terrain cannot manage the runoff causing the rainfall to back up into areas that normally does not have water like road, homes buildings or bridges.
