A Macbook Pro weighs around 5.6 pounds (2.54 kg).
The 2.4GHz MacBook Pro is designed to support 8GB of RAM without any problems. Most users will find the standard 4GB perfectly adequate.
The latest 15 inch MacBook Pro will support up to 4GB and the 17 inch version will support up to 8 GB of RAM.
You cannot. With the introduction of the MacBook Pro Retina line in 2012, it's not possible to upgrade your RAM as you could with previous MacBooks.
Gigabytes (GB) vary with the model of Macbook Pro you decide on. 13-Inch MacBook Pro has 4GB memory and a 500GB hard drive. 13-Inch MacBook Pro with Retina has 8GB memory and ranges from 128GB flash storage to 512GB flash storage. 15-Inch MacBook Pro with Retina has 16GB memory with either 256GB or 512GB flash storage. This information comes from the Apple Store website.
There are a number of places where one could go to learn about the RAM of a Macbook Pro. Specs for computers are found in numerous places online, like Best Buy and Future Shop's websites. Information can also be found in any computer store or electronics store that sells the Macbook Pro.
Yes, but it costs 200 dollars more than the MacBook. It also has many more features ^ Actually, it all depends on the era of Macbook. If you are talking the newest Macbook series than well yes the 15 inch and 17 inch pro can have an i7 or i5 processor with up to 8GB DDR3 RAM. However even the Macbook 13 inch can have up to 8 GB RAM now, they only have up to a 3.2GHz processor, but so does the 13 inch Pro. My recommendation is if you are getting a 13 inch then just buy a Macbook and buy a USB to SD card reader (as the SD card slot is the only major difference), if you want a 15 or 17 inch than spend the extra and get the i7 with 8GB RAM, you will happy I guarantee it. <Vote up on RyanMoroz>
Gigahertz (GHz) is the speed of the processor. The size of RAM is measured in Gigabytes (GB). The 2.16GHz MacBook Pro can have 2GB (two 1GB modules) of 667MHz PC2-5300 DDR2 SO-DIMM SDRAM.
A Macbook Pro is the best new Apple laptop. Ram is something that goes inside of the computer to make it run better. But yes, any Macbook would be good for a new user.

The MacBook Pro has more upgradeable items like the hard drive and Ram that you can replace yourself and the MacAir has the Ram and hard drive (flash drive, SSD, etc) soldered directly to the main board so you can't up grade them later. The MacBook Pro is a bit more powerful then the Air but the Air is much slimmer and lighter then the MB Pro.
