To find this, you take 2^32 = 4294967296 bits = ~4.3GB max. In reality, a Windows 32bit OS only addresses something like 3.5GB.
each bit of RAM has a unique address
If I was to purchase a computer that is a average desktop computer how much RAM and Rom should I have?
Windows XP does not have the RAM, its the computer that has it. The amount of RAM can differ for each computer.
4GB of RAM
XP will only recognize up to 3 GB of RAM. However how much RAM your computer can hold is dependent on the model not the OS.
You can have as many windows as you want open at one time.
21
64 bits.
It all depends on the configuration. ie how much ram you want. The speed of the processor ,graphic card etc.
Typically, Minecraft usually uses 300MB + RAM - Usually about 600MB, but it is automatically allocated up to 900MB RAM (if your computer can handle that). Basically, the more RAM you have, the better Minecraft will run.
Depends on the computer. I'd have to say that a standard pc has anywhere from 2-4 gigabytes of RAM.
A 32-bit computer handles 32-bit data (four bytes) as its native data size. A 64-bit computer handles 64-bit data (eight bytes) as its native data size. Generally, a 64-bit computer will be faster (theoretically, twice as fast, but other factors also affect performance) than a 32-bit computer but, to take full advantage of that, the operating system, as well as the application, must be running in 64-bit mode.
