An US Bradly Fighting Vehicle main armament could hold certain number of bullets but depends on what bullet is being used and the length of the Chain. The Rate of Fire is usually 200 Rounds/Minute or 500 Rounds/Minute.
Anti-Tank rockets (like bazookas) or recoilless rifles that fire anti-tank High-explosive rounds could have been used in the jungles against bunkers or fortifications. But not "Anti-tank missiles". The anti-tank (guided) missiles were developed after WW2.
There are a few variables that you have to take into account with. The type of gun you are using will play into account. The weather conditions believe it or have an affect on the efficiency as well. Over all, you should expect to shoot around 500-600 rounds.
Q: How WELL do incendiary rounds work?Somewhat. Incendiary rounds will NOT ignite everything that is shot with it. And it may take several or hundreds of rounds to start a good fire quickly.Recently on the Discovery Channel "Mythbusters", they tried to replicate a scene in a James Bond movie where he shoots a Propane tank with his pistol and it explodes. They could not get a gas tank to explode by shooting it with a regular pistol or with indendiary rounds. They even fired a round into the tank to get it to disperse the gas and fired another round through the gas. That surpised me.During WW1, the Germans climbed that the Allied pilots were firing "explosive rounds" that caused their airplanes to burn so easily. I don't know if this was a problem with language translation but they were using indendiary rounds. WW1 pilots also loaded indendiary rounds when they wanted to shoot down a balloon, which was filled with explosive hydrogen gas. So I guess they worked in those cases.
if the shell was big enough the mortar could take out a tank with a few rounds...
Basically two steps. First, you calculate how much volume half the tank would have. Then you simply divide this volume by the rate.
Kevlar is used to stop some bullets. Normally it will stop pistol rounds but other rounds , especially an anti tank round.
Its inside the fuel tank. You have to drop the tank and remove the sender/pump from the top. Be sure to empty the tank as much as possible and have a helper and a fire extinguisher handy!
Nope.
No, the bullets have no effect on artillery and tanks.
No. A fuel tank will not explode just because it is on fire. However, it will feed the fire and make it worse.
A bomber, a missile from a fighter jet like a F-35 Raptor, a Warthog fighter with anti-tank rounds, another tank, and military helicopters like the Apache or the Black Hawk.
