It really depends on the store, because all ShopRites are independently owned and managed. Some start you at minimum wage (or just above), but my particular store starts adults at $9.50/hour (which is the highest I've heard of for any standard grocery store, i.e. not Trader Joe's or Whole Foods, let alone among ShopRites). If your store is unionized, you'll likely get a guaranteed raise of some kind once or twice per year.
