A M16 cost about $2000.00
1961- date
Yes. The Colt AR15 is the original semi-auto version of the military M16. The rifle is now made by many manufacturers besides Colt.
That really depends on the brand and who is selling it. A Colt Defense -the original producer of the M16- will cost you around 1,400 to 1,600 dollars (or more depending on the specifics). But many other companies produce and sell M16s and their variants for cheaper. I just bought a Stag Arms M4 (the carbine version of an M16) for 800 dollars, and have found other models at gun shows for as low as 500. The best way to truly price an M16 in your area is to find a local gun show and just shop around.
Depending on the maker it will run between 800-1400 dollars on average.
No. Colt Firearms is American. There is a company called Colt Canada - this was formerly known as Diemaco before it was bought out by Colt, and they manufactured the M16 rifle under license both prior to and after being bought by Colt.
Colt Manufacturing, Diemaco (now Colt Canada), Fabrique Nationale USA, Daewoo Heavy Industries, Chartered Industries of Singapore.
look on www.subguns.com on form 4?
I believe that Colt has the government contract to produce the M16 for the US military.
it would cost about 850 dollars and if you want an airsoft one that looks exactly like a real one it would cost about 50 dollars.
You should use a m16 because its better.
