This is a tricky question to answer. In general, model scouts should only be responsible for networking with potential models and inviting them to the agency for an interview. From there the model scout's job is done. If the scout is the one trying to charge you for pictures then you should be suspicious. Modeling agencies are only allowed to have models pay for portfolio pictures after they have been signed to a modeling contract. It is illegal for them to charge upfront fees before offering you a contact to sign. They are walking a very fine line so you should be very wary.

Well it depends on what model you have I have a walkman nwz e340 model and it only take about 30 min. to charge but the battery lasts soooooo long. So if you don't have this model, I totally recommend it.
