sure , that is easy, the answer is a compilation of the information that is out there, because most sources agree ,it is very likely accurate. approx. 48 billion ounces have been mined, approx just under 1 billion a year is consumed ,and most of that is never to be recovered. so the answer is ... about 1 years supply. about 1 billion ounces, and in that answer is much that is not easy to use, so really we have less than a years supply on hand, but we do have mining trying to ramp up and in many mines productive soils decreasing the richness. all in all, because most people do not know this , and are fooled by derivative paper silver , we have an incredible silver shortage ready to happen. on top of this ,we have a world who is ready to discard Fiat money, and will likely run toward real money ,which is silver and gold, now we have the perfect storm. one word of advise, do not trust anything but physical silver and gold period, and do not trust any so-called safe storage places. they will not be trustworthy , obama and the communists will stop at nothing to take from those who have and give to those who will deliver political power.
