uhh, for your information, you should go to the nine year old girl and ask her " how much do you need to sleep" I think tht will help . wow, you have to think, well how much do YOU need to sleep. & then come to a nine year old girl. cuz duh EVERYONE needs to sleep for like 8 till 9 hours. Babies need 18 hours sleep, Toddlers need 12 hours, Children need 10 hours, Adults need 7 hours. I however (Being eleven), think that an eleven year old needs between 9 - 10.

Well it depends on whether or not the kid is very athletic or if they stay in bed all day. The average eleven year old should get at least 6 hours of sleep if not more. But personally I would have my eleven year old child sleep for 8 hours or more. ;D Hope this helps...... if not, try different times each night and if your child seems more happy in the morning or more grouchy than you know how much more or less sleep they need. My doctor has told me that tweens need 9 hours of sleep a night! A Sleep Doctor should tell you to sleep 10 hours of sleep not 9 hours. Now Adult can sleep up to 6 hours, there bodys don't need that much sleep:)
Yes this is the best idea because I personally have had this expiriance and it is very painful. You should definitly have her put to sleep.
