Ok this must be right,
Mr of 2NaOH = 80 and Mr of NaSO4 = 142
so, 80g of 2NaOH ---> 142g of NaSO4
80/142 = 0.56g
0.56 x 75g = 42.25g

The easiest way of making sodium sulfate solution is by adding sulfuric acid to sodium hydroxide. If the pure material is required, then evaporate the water off.
Sodium displaces the sulfate to make sodium sulfate; iron displaces the hydroxide to make ferrous hydroxide which becomes brown.
