alot is used
solar energy is better than thermal energy as it is an easy and convenient method solar energy is non polluting therefore it is better than thermal energy because thermal energy cause very much pollution and it is costly also but solar energy do not cause pollution and as we are obtaining it from sun so it is cheap also

The thermal energy. The thermal energy. The thermal energy. The thermal energy.
There is not much to dislike about solar energy.
Because it has a greater surface than land, and therefore absorbs more solar energy. Also because the ocean is generally colder than land (ocean has less thermal energy than land) , and higher energy goes to lower energy.
how solar energy is used
This question requires a context. Thermal energy exists everywhere. But in general, too much thermal energy leads to overheating.
Heat is a form of energy known as thermal energy. It is the energy that comes from the movement of particles within a substance, which causes an increase in temperature.
Yes, the hotter an object is, the greater the thermal energy it has.
It is based on the system which you are using. Solar PV or Solar thermal. PV can still generate electricity even if its cloudy. It uses both Direct and diffused beams of sunlight. In case of solar thermal, it uses only direct beam of sun's light component. If you have further doubts please contact me at raam2504@yahoo.com
A bunch.
I am going to assume you meant energy from the sun and the reason is it cost to much to run a solar farm for the amount of money electricity cost and if you were willing to stomach the high prices of solar energy you would end up with a world wide recession/depression
