It depends on which aspect of sleep you are talking about, but in general, not much time is spent studying sleep while in medical school (probably on the order of a few days). But depending on which type of residency the doctor trains in, there may be a lot of time devoted to it. For instance, those studying to become neurologists will spend much more time learning about sleep than those becoming surgeons. Some doctors even specialize in sleep medicine or sleep disorders, and they can spend years in post graduate training to learn about sleep.

school can give some physical change. since school has started I've gained a few pounds because there is a lot of studying and not much activity since the weather isn't great and I'm so busy. other teens might look dishevled because they aren't getting enough sleep.
It is too much fun living and playing to concentrate on studying. Students get distracted from studying, and many of them don't realize how important studying is. School is your job, just like your parents go to work every day to earn a paycheck and support you while you are in school. Students forget this fact, and then they don't concentrate well on their studies.
Studying in France costs nothing.
Try to figure out how many hours you eat, sleep, recreate, and work. Then subtract from 24. That is how much time you have.
Studying (or lack thereof) can really affect your grades in all levels of schooling. You need to study for tests, no matter how much you don't want to. Studying is the key to doing well on any type of test. So many students will not study at all or do the 15 minute cram session on the bus on the way to school. To get the maximum benefit out of your studying, you need to start several days before the test and study the material in short bursts. Seriously avoid cramming since that is not very beneficial for remembering things.
Joe, Nick, and Kevin finished high school but right now none of them are doing college because they are touring so much.
Pretty much like most other kids: play, eat, sleep, go to school.
