Well,

In answer to your question plants under go photosynthesis which is the chemical conversion of light and nutrients into food glucose. In photosynthesis plants take in CO2 through their stomata or pores in the underside of their leaves and combine it with water and light to produce glucose, a sugar that is used for food. This is the basic reaction below. Plants do not require oxygen to grow in fact they produce it so, in answer to your question a plant without Oxygen will do fine provided it has access to light, water and a few other essential nutrients.

The Earth's oxygen is completely dependent on trees and plants. They produce oxygen and absorb carbon dioxide. This oxygen is very important for life on earth.

It will be many millions of years before the earth runs out of oxygen.

What would happen if your earth is without green plants?

Then all animals that feed on plants, herbivores, would disappear. After which all animals that feed on the herbivores, carnivores and omnivores would disappear. Basically most of life on earth would go extinct, only bacteria and other simple organisms would survive. Also us humans wouldn't be able to stay healthy if there isn't enought plants to feed on(vegtables). Also plants provide us with oxygen, which is very important for respiration. without oxygen how would the organisms respire?

What would happen to the carbon dioxide level in the atmosphere if there were less plants and trees?

Trees and plants take in Carbon Dioxide and in turn breathes out oxygen. If there was no plants and trees we would die. The whole of the world depends on plants and trees. Not meaning to sound like a tree-hugger, but don't cut down trees...plant them!

Why do humans need soil?

humans need soil to grow trees to get oxygen and where would we be without oxygen and soil helps plants grow and not all plants need soil air plants do not need soil.

What would happen to us if there were no plants on earth?

Plants are the only life forms on Earth which are capable of producing fixed carbon and oxygen from carbon dioxide and water using sunlight via the process of photosynthesis. Without plants herbivores would die, without herbivores carnivores and omnivores would die.If there were no plants on earth we would all be dead because plants give oxygen. There would also be no life.

How would the atmosphere in your area change if a disease killed all the plants?

The atmosphere in an area where a disease killed all the plants would not have any or very little oxygen. Trees would still produce some oxygen.

If there were no trees would you have oxygen?

Yes, there would still be free oxygen in the air if there were no trees. There are many plants that are not trees and that release oxygen. In fact, the Earth's atmosphere was rich in oxygen due to the metabolism of plants in the oceans ages before the first trees appeared on the land.

What if all the trees are vanished from the earth?

There would be no air on earth because plants gives humans oxygen and a tree is considered a plant. and people on earth would start dying because of no oxygen.

What if there is no plants?

If no plants or trees were on Earth all living things would die after a while because plants produce oxygen which living things need to live.

What would happen if there were no street trees around?

If there were no trees the amount of oxygen in the air would be less. Because trees and plants takes carbondioxide and release oxygen during the process of photosynthesis. If so happens living beings can not survive on the Earth

How do trees help us breathe?

Trees help us breath because trees give off the oxygen we need so without trees or any other plants we humans would perish from this earth never to be seen ALIVE AGAIN.

If you woke up tomorrow and all of the animals on earth were gone what would happen to the amount of oxygen in the air?

if all the animals were gone there would be no carbon dioxide for plants and trees to take in and no oxygen would be produced.

What will happen if there was no trees and plants?

There would be no oxygen therefore no humans or animals.

How are trees essential on earth?

Trees provide oxygen without trees this would be just a dead planet!

What would happen if you removed all of the oxygen from an area where plants were grown?

the trees give us oxygen so......we would die.

Do palm trees give us oxygen?

Well, all plants filter the air so there are no toxins in the air. As they do this, they produce oxygen. So, since palm trees are plants, they would naturally filter out the air and create oxygen.

If you woke up tomorrow and all of the plants on earth were gone what would happen to the amount of oxygen?

There would be hardly any left. If you got rid of trees too then I guess your stumped.

What will happen if plants become extinct?

The Herbivores would all die as they had no plants to eat. Then the carnivores would all die as they had no herbivores to eat. Also we would die firstly because there are no oxygen, sencondly we wouldn't have any thing to eat so stop chopping trees down!
