now this is just me but im quite sure standard transmissions dont have fluid. they are just packed with greese .... but then again i have an auto and have only worked on older things when it comes to trans.
Its in the manual. It is actually quite a bit, something like 10 quarts total.
A 2001 Pontiac Sunfire requires 1.8 quarts of DEXRON III fluid for the 5-speed manual transmission.

Look on the firewall behind the transmission fluid dipstick, just to the left (from the front) directly below the windshield wiper. That's were it is on my 98.

On the top of the trans there is a red cap. take the cap off and the fluid goes in there.
Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) sometimes called Dexron 3...available everywhere...
there is none, you check fluid with dipstick that goes into transmission
The transmission will fail.
