I own a 94 Century my manual says: 3100 SFI V6 Pan removal & replacement 7.4 qts/7.0 liters. After complete overhaul 10.0 qts/9.5 liters If it's a 4 cyl 2.2L eng. its 4 qts/3.8 liters for pan removal & replacement & after complete overhaul 7 qts/6.6 liters. Hope this helps.
Dextron 3
My 1991 Buick Century won't move or hold transmission fluid
the transmission dip stick is red, you use funnel to put fluid in there
Dexron V or VI
Fill through dipstick tube
the red dipstick towards the backside of the engine
It is important to know how much fluid a car needs to run smoothly. A 1999 Buick Park Ave will need between five and seven quarts of transmission fluid.
Dexron III should be a safe bet.
I believe it is 12 Quarts.
A 2000 Buick Century typically holds about 12 quarts of transmission fluid when including the torque converter and cooler. However, if you're just changing the fluid in the transmission pan, it may require around 5 to 7 quarts. Always check the owner's manual for the most accurate specifications and recommendations.
