According to a report to the US Congress in the 1970s:
Each ton (2000 pounds) of recycled paper can save 17 trees.
However there are many types of paper. The congress report was based on Newspaper, not including other types like office, printer, copier, mail and many others.
Several sites reference conservatree.org, which uses Tom Soder's estimates in Claudia Thompson's book "Recycled Papers: The Essential Guide" (Cambridge, MA: MIT Press, 1992).
A:On average, a single ton of paper would be produced from 17 trees. An individual tree is said to produce on average 476637 sheets of paper. A:2.56 tons of trees are required to make a ton of virgin paper. Each ream would require 3.6 kg of wood. One tree would produce 80,500 sheets of paper. But over time it will be gone.
One (or actually a lot less, but you would need to have one tree to use a part of it)
It takes 17 trees to produce one ton of paper.
SO MUCH! don't waste paper!
50000000000000000
1 pound of tree...
It has been estimated that 17 full grown trees are needed to make 1 tonne of paper.
About 15 to 17 trees are used to produce 1 ton of paper.
your mum is how many litres!
A little more than one third of a tree is needed to make 3,000 sheets of copy paper
None. US money is not printed on paper. The paper in U.S. banknotes is made of a 75% cotton and 25% linen mixture.
Many species of trees produce fruits, such as apples, oranges, plums.
10 trees
Approximately 4 billion trees or 35% of the total trees cut around the world are used in paper industries annually. Have you ever thought that the paper you use is made out of how many trees? The paper you use is made out of 10 trees. Please do not waste paper and use it intelligently. And yes daily almost '2,00,000' of trees are cut down!
17 trees
Paper is produced from wood pulp. Since this pulp ultimately comes from trees and we only have/can have so many trees, paper is a finite resource.
the average tree makes around 40,000 sheets of paper
That depends on how much less paper you use...
