Will Wallpaper sizing work hanging wallpaper over wallpaperYes, but it has been my experience that you will never be fully happy with the results. I always remove old wallpaper prior to changing to a different wall-covering. It just makes for a better finished job. Note: If you decide to remove the old wallpaper I use white vinegar and warm water applying several coats, after removing as much of the "easily" removed loose paper.
Use febreez
No, vinegar will not remove nits from hair. Nits need to be combed or picked off the hair shaft.
Anyone that has tried to peel off wallpaper to re-paint, or apply new wallpaper, knows how difficult a task it can be. The adhesives wallpaper manufacturers use are very strong. A great way to get the wallpaper loose is to use a steamcleaner. The small hand-hend varieties are the best - cheap, portable, and easy to use. To remove the wallpaper, simply run the nozzle of the steamcleaner against the wallpaper, going up and down until the paper is hot, humid and saturated with moisture. This loosens the grip of the adhesive and the paper is pulled off with ease.
The best method to remove wallpaper glue, particularly if it is old, is to steam it down. That might mean renting a portable steamer, but in a well-ventilated area, try combining the use of steam and commercial wallpaper adhesive removers.
Hi, I have found that first you have to score it (wallpaper scoring tool - very inexpensive). The best thing I have found so far to get any kind of wallpaper off is a wallopaper steamer (you can rent one easily). it works the best. Some people swear by vinegar but that is too much elbow grease for me! good luck!
Yes it does work. I have done it many times and it comes off very easily. Make the water luke warm to hot and your job will be quite pleasingly easy. The vinegar makes the glue come off more clean a little less gummy. Use water mixed with Cascade dishwasher soap. It has a wetting agent.
Never use ammonia on hardwood floors. Use diluted vinegar or to remove wax buildup apply mineral spirits with a cloth.
Use vinegar, water and soap
Depends on what was use to put wallpaper up. Steamer works best or very hot water. A heat gun can actually burn the paper and the wall if used incorrectly or if adhesive is old.
try plain white (cheap) tooth paste or if not use the liquid from hairspray
