parallel you get the same 12 volt just the amperage goes up, series tho the volts double so DO NOT use a 16 volt alternator or double the battery voltage for today's vehicles or end up having the most expensive yard ornament
12 volts
The small batteries (dry cells) used for many electronic devices usually have approximately 1.5 volts. Car batteries (which have several cells working in series) usually have around 12 volts. Other batteries may have other voltages.
Most batteries used in watches are one and one half volts 1.5v]
Lead-Acid cells are generally considered to deliver 2 volts, so you'd need 24 cells to get 48 volt. Easiest way of doing that would be to use two 24V batteries as used in truck and heavy vehicles.
3 disposable type (1.5v) batteries would get you to 4.5 volts, and 4 rechargeable (1.2v) type batteries would get you up to 4.8 volts. As far as the size... You can get 4.8 volts from any four 1.5 volt batteries. The batteries will power the load longer, though, if they are bigger. 4 rechargeable 'D' cells and 4 rechargeable 'AAA' cells will both run a 4.8v motor, but the 'D' cells will do it for much longer. Estimate how long the motor is to be used, or how much load will be on the motor, and make your best guess as to the battery used... Normally, you wouldn't use 'AAA' or even 'AA' cells for a motor actually doing something. I would probably go with 'D's.
Have you been looking for truck batteries that are on the used market? Be careful when buying these, since there is probably a reason someone wanted to replace them. You don't want to buy weak batteries that could leave you stranded in a parking lot on a cold winter day.
A 3 volt battery is a type of battery that produces a voltage of 3 volts. It is commonly used in various electronic devices such as remote controls, toys, and small gadgets. The most common types of 3 volt batteries are coin cell batteries and AAA or AA batteries.
The old A batteries used in vacuum tube radios were initially 2 volts but later 1.4 volts became more common. You can find them also in other voltage ratings.
the collective voltage of this cart is 48 volts . fully charged it will be anything up to 51 or 52 volts . If the voltage of your batteries is less than say 41 volts because they are very very low then your charger will not kick on. You will have to charge the batteries one at a time using a car battery charger. The golf cart charger you have will only turn on and charge when the batteries are above a certain voltage . You are obviously below that. Or you batteries are simply no good at all because they were dry for to long . Go to your local batteries plus store and have them check them for free.
A 3AA battery typically refers to a battery configuration consisting of three AA-sized batteries connected in series. AA batteries are cylindrical, commonly used in household devices, and can be alkaline, rechargeable (NiMH or NiCd), or lithium. The combined voltage of three AA batteries is 4.5 volts (1.5 volts each). This configuration is often used in devices that require higher power or longer usage times.
Depends on the truck. Mainly 7.2V batteries are used in RC cars/trucks. If you mean mAh wise then the higher the number the better.
kwh means Kilowatt Hour..used by the electric company to monitor how much you owe them.it is not a term for a car battery.....your regular car battery has 12 volts of power
