7.2 million dollars, or two cents per acre
No. It was puchased much later (in 1867) from the Russians.
Russians eat pretty much the same food as americans, but healthier.
Small amounts of Russians settled in Alaska during the early 19th century, mostly fur trappers from Siberia. It was not populated very much (except by indigenous) until after it was purchased by the US in 1867 and gold was discovered some time later.
Probably Alaska which was purchased from the Russians. Or it could be the Louisiana Purchase whereby the U.S. government bought that piece of land from France. To go back even earlier, the purchase of Manhattan Island from the Indians was also a good deal. All of these land purchases were highly profitable.
It really wasn't that much even for 1867. They knew that the US didn't really want Alaska as much as they wanted Russia out of North America so they made the best deal that they could.
The US gained 20 percent in expansion in buying Alaska from Russia in 1867.
Joell mcghee purches it and bought it for 8,000,892
2 cents per acre
Yes they do, but it's not a trend. People have Penguins in Alaska as much as Americans have pet Tigers. ~Evony~
About two cents per acre.
The American Forces fought with the other Allied countries while the USSR fought more on their own but they still planned strategy and shared resources together. The Russians lost over 10 million servicemen in the war whereas the US lost 400,000 servicemen. The Russians were invaded by the Nazis on their own land. The US did not have an invasion from the Russians. The US had managed to develop the atom bomb, but the USSR did not. The Russians hated the Germans very much because of the 20 million Russians the Nazis killed and raped. The Russians took revenge on the Germans for doing that. They raped hundreds of thousands of women. The Russians were communists while the Americans were democratic people. The USSR had a dictator, but the Americans had a leader they chose to represent them. The Russians suffered much more during World War 2 than the Americans did.
